Amy Poehler On Heartbreaking Divorce From Husband Will Arnett: "You Feel Incredibly Alone"
In 2012, fans of the celebrity couple Amy Poehler and Will Arnett were devastated to know that the two had separated. The actors had been together for almost a decade, welcomed 2 sons and started together in a number of movies and TV series, including Arrested Development, Blades of Glory, and Horton Hears a Who!

In 2014, Will filed for divorce, and 2 years later, it was finalized. Of course, his ex-wife couldn’t keep silent about their separation and even write a memoir, Yes Please, describing her life after splitting up.

The 47-year old revealed that she felt extremely alone while going through a divorce. Many couples separate and, because of how common divorce is, she believed no one understood how hard and painful it was for her.
You are constantly reminded by society of how frequently divorce happens … You aren’t allowed to feel special, but no one knows the specific ways you are in pain.

But luckily, the exes still work together to raise their 2 sons. As Poehler added:
I am proud of how my ex-husband Will and I have been taking care of our children. I am beyond grateful he is their father.

She clearly has. First, the Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp actress dated Nick Kroll for 2 years, but they sadly broke up. And in 2017, it was revealed that Poehler found a new beau – NYC-based attorney Benjamin Graf.
