The whole country mourns the passing of the great person and 41st US President, George H.W. Bush. The current President and First Lady, Donald and Melania Trump, also commemorated Bush’s memory with a tribute.

Tribute to George H.W. Bush
The 41st President of America, George H.W. Bush, passed away late Friday, November 30, in his Houston home at the age of 94.
In his last minutes, Mr. Bush was surrounded by his loved ones including his son, 43rd US President George W. Bush.
Mr. Bush’s demise marked a sad day in the history of the country. Citizens of the United States, politicians, and world leaders mourn the passing of this great person.

President Donald Trump released a big statement on behalf of him and his wife Melania to pay tribute to Bush Senior.
Trump wrote:
Our hearts ache with his loss, and we, with the American people, send our prayers to the entire Bush family, as we honor life and legacy of 41.

Despite a reported feud between Trump and Bush (there were reports in the media that Bush questioned Trump’s understanding of the presidential job, in general), Donald did a good thing by praising George’s memory with a tribute.

I truly wish I didn’t feel a deep emptiness in reading this statement. Not emptiness in the sense of loss, but rather in believing the sentiments expressed by the Trumps. Try as I might, I find in nearly impossible to believe they (ok, mostly he) feels a true sense of loss.
