Meghan’s new position in ‘British Vogue’
As it was confirmed earlier, Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, will edit the September issue of British Vogue. We are so happy for Meghan and wish her to succeed in this new role.
Of course, a lot of fans hoped to see Meghan on the magazine cover as well. Sadly, but it’s not going to happen. The Duchess refused to grace British Vogue cover to avoid negative reactions over ‘boasting’.

Poor Meghan! Despite her good intentions, she still got under fire. A royal author Jan Moir accused the Duchess of lying about her alleged fears of boasting.
It’s all lie!
Jan Moir explained what made her doubt the Duchess’ words. The Daily Mail columnist wrote:
By insisting it is all about good deeds, not ego feeds. By claiming it is not about her, it is all about you… a bit of strategic duchessy gamesmanship one has to admire.

As it was revealed by Vogue’s team, instead of herself, Meghan’s cover will feature 15 other powerful women called “The Game Changers.” These all are the women, whom Meghan finds inspirational and who deserve public admiration.
The author concluded her article, saying that she has a persistent feeling that “the cause the duchess is mostly supporting is the Me, Myself & I Foundation.”
